I actually ordered a TL2 body from the given shop two days ago. I haven't heard anything about the shipping yet. But both the black and chrome bodies were listed as "available", so I guess the bodies are in-house and ready to be shipped. Time will tell, obviously.

I just got a note that the TL2 is under way, so no hardware update in this case, apparently.

No TL2s currently for sale in London's Mayfair store (shop).

I ordered mine from there earlier in August, and it arrived inside a week; I believe they sourced it from a German dealer. They had to update the firmware themselves before handing it to me.

They had the 23mm and viso in stock, but the 60mm took another couple of weeks to arrive.

I guess in Germany there calculators don't work. For a TL2 plus the 35mm plus IVF comes to 4700 euro including 19% VAT. At checkout with my Malaysian address they deducted the VAT and it came to euro 4350.........my calculator comes to 3807???

On Friday, Leica in Berlin or Hamburg had a silver one in stock. But, shipping to USA as $300 USD so it did not make sense for me to place an order.

Got the one I ordered from B&H a while ago last week - I have been out shooting (will post some picture on the post a picture thread) - this is a totally different experience  shooting with this camera - love it.  The option to manually switch from rear screen to viewfinder (and keep it on viewfinder) is great - much easier to work with.  Overall the camera is much faster and the IQ is great.  All in all this is well worth the upgrade and makes the TL2 a very functional camera.
