Leica M10 - sensor banding - can Leica remap sensors in Allendale, NJ?

My brand new M10 developed horizontal sensor banding on the second day.  It was occasional at first, but after a week, it appears almost all the time and always on the same area.  Sometimes its blue-ish, sometimes black.  Starts "strong" on the left and tapers/fades off to the right   See sample crop. 

 

I tried switching batteries, various SD cards, formatting, reformating (in camera/ in computer with SD formatter) , various ISO settings (400 to 10,000), various lenses (coded and uncoded) but the line is still there.

 

Does anyone know if Leica can remap the sensor or it needs new hardware?  

 

If sensor can be remapped, does anyone know if it can be done in Leica New Jersey facility or it has to go back to Solms?

 

Leica told me that they will replace the camera with a new one, but I don't know when it will arrive,  Am considering repair in the USA as an option.

I'm not sure whether remapping can solve this problem. I'd take the new camera. If it is a replacement it shouldn't take too long.

Take the new camera. 

 

My replacement (I'd broken my original M10 by dropping it) took two weeks to arrive. Frustrating but worth it for a brand new camera.

I,don't see any banding. Can you point it out?

That big blue line needs more than a remap.

 

Just make sure you are using proper cards and try another.

If that bid blue streak is what you're referring to that's not banding. Sensor remaps don't fix banding anyway.
