Angle viewfinder, or how to shoot SL at waist level

The SL right angle viewfinder is optical and not electronic. I purchased it and it works well for low shots, but it is not too secure. I use a bit of gagger tap to hold it in place better. Large field of view and bright; can also be rotated. I mostly use it on a tripod and not handheld (with manual focus M lenses).

Found this. Will see if it is good to hold the phone on the camera's LCD screen.

The SL's LCD and fixings are not designed to cope with a cantilever load that the weight of this device and an iPhone would introduce and you could wind up damaging your SL.

Pete.

The only reliable way to secure an external LCD screen is a camera cage with some sort of a screen holder. For most photographic purposes it is an overkill, just like an external screen is, but it is indispensable for video.

understand, but I am not looking for video monitor, I just want a simple waist level finder or an angle finder for low angle shooting. Preferably not catching attention.
