Marbled White

The Marbled White (Melanargia galathea) has, like many UK butterflies, done well this year and has been out in great numbers (and in places where I would never have expected to find them). In spite of the name it is of course a "Brown" not a "White".

 

Portra 400 and 90 Macro Elmar-M.
