Do I have a focus problem with the camera or the lenses (or is it me!)?

I've had my M10 for a few weeks now and I'm beginning to think that there's a problem. I've noticed that quite a few of my pictures are out of focus, so I decided to do some tests. In each of the following photographs I focused (using the rangefinder) on the top of the bamboo pole which was about 2.5 metres away. I have cropped the pictures so you can better see what I'm talking about.

What do you think?

Thanks for the link - very interesting.

I took the following photos focussing via Live View. When I had focussed using LV I checked the RF to see if patches lined up - they did for the 50mm and 75mm, but the 28mm and 35mm were out.

I don't know if it is you or the camera.  I would think that that is a pretty easy subject to focus on, so if it is you, perhaps a Rangefinder is not the best tool for you.  The only way to really know for sure would be to get the EVF and do some comparisons between what the rangefinder is telling you, and what the EVF shows.  My M10 was off straight out of the box.  I had to ship it back to Samy's camera in LA (free return) and it took me over a month to receive another body from them.  The new one focuses accurately.
