Tom Barry Posted July 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted July 8, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) One of a group of 12-foot-tall sunflowers at the entry to Zilker Botanical Garden, Austin, TX. Colors ranged from bright yellow to very dark brown. I liked the copper-colored ones: Giant sunflower by tombarry975, on Flickr

Tom Barry Posted July 10, 2017 Author Share #4 Posted July 10, 2017 Thanks, Brent and Stuart. The color is new to me as well. I've seen cultivated fields of these giant sunflowers, even hunted birds in them, but never before have I seen any color but sunflower yellow.
