orc999 Posted June 17, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 17, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I just got my m10 today and had some problems: - I went into menu (lens selection: off, auto, M, R) and I was not able to set off,auto, I was just able to get deeper into the menu but no set or back. shutter was blocked, so had to switch it off to get out of menu. -when the camera restarted it was reset, came up with language and time selection -had another freeze during operation Both happenend within 15 minutes of use. best regards Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

What's funny is these teething issues seem to settle down even without any new firmware. Hopefully you don't see it again but by all means report it to Leica if you experience any other problems. Well, the little internal battery that feeds the permanent memory for settings etc. takes its power from the main battery. Maybe it was so drained that it took a few minutes to get functional. Data write LED stuck on. Only way to resolve was to remove the battery. Fully charged battery, DNG + L-JPEG, 3-4 shots over 2-3 seconds (set to single shot), auto ISO, speed, WB. No LV, 1600 ISO. Sony 64GB/94 MB/s SD-XC card. Nothing unusual. Surely shouldn't fill the buffer. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It gets exported into LR fine, but no way to see the image vie the M10 I've rebooted, reformatted the card and swapped batteries. Days later still an issue I have experienced this same issue with my M10 during a photo session i was doing a couple of weeks ago. It seemed odd when it happened and i don't recall exactly how i had the camera set up or what i was doing, i do recall having the EVF installed. When it happened, i had taken a photo and did see a black screen and file name when i looked at the LCD. I took another photo right after that and had the same thing happen again. I remember turning the camera off, restarting it and it was fine after that and has been ever since, so for me, so far, it was a 1-time glitch. If others are having this experience, i presume it may happen again, but in my 3 or 4 weeks of M10 usage, it has only happened 1 time. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
