WOW!!! Those are great...

You are too kind. To be honest, my weapon of choice for ballet is M10. I am so used to its size and weight (or lack of it thereof) that SL feels like an anchor. Another M feature that is absolutely invaluable for dance photography is no viewfinder blackout. That said, SL made me take a very good look at video. Video image quality wise nothing in the DSLR/mirrorless world comes close if you take into consideration native Leica optics and 10-bit output.

I just the 90-280... and it's insanely good!!

Currently I have a Harry Benz wrist strap on it. I have only used the 24-90 on it until now. Even though the 24-90 is big, it never felt unbalanced.

Clearly now with the 90-280 it's very front heavy. The Thumbs Up is a must... as my thumb falls right on it perfectly. I really don't use the  wrist strap, just have it there if I need it.

I'm kind of nervous I will drop the combo... and that would really NOT be good.

Do you guys use a neck strap when shooting?? I'm not concerned about carrying it around... because when not in use, it will be in a case and pulled out only when needed.

I just want something more stable WHILE shooting only.

Thoughts??

I use Normal strap but attached  using Snap Clips to quickly remove it when not needed.

Aren't you afraid of scratching the camera? By the way, love the photos on your Flickr page, Sunil.

Metal snap ring is almost two inches away from the body when it hangs on the neck, between snap ring and the camera is rubber and elastic. The strap is removed when the camera is in the bag.

Thanks you liked my pictures, appreciate.
