fotografr Posted June 4, 2017 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been shooting this cluster of Iris in all kinds of light. In early morning they are backlit. On cloudy days they are soft and the color is more pastel. Here, they are in late day sun, which is my favorite for these flowers. Welcome, dear visitor! erl Posted June 4, 2017 Share #2 Posted June 4, 2017 Great treatment of a great subject Brent. I particularly like the various 'zones' you have created with the grasses in front, the irises next, then the OOF background, all with own layer effects and colours. fotografr Posted June 4, 2017 Author Share #5 Posted June 4, 2017 Thanks very much, Erl, Steve and Stuart. Steve, this was shot with the V Lux 114. It's my only long lens Leica and I had to shoot this from a window in the back room of my house so as to not be standing in another bed of flowers. I think I was zoomed out to around 300mm.
