Yes it works also with other Lenses. Press the LiveView button and You will see what the sensor sees in Your Visoflex.

Thank you for your response.  May I ask... does it also show focus peaking with non-Leica lens?  Finding info on line about the Visoflex is next to impossible.

Yes, when focus peaking is set, it works for all lenses mounted on the M, on LV and Visoflex 020.

Thanks for the various responses.  Going from all Nikon to learning the Leica is a rather sizable task.  I understand the mechanics of cameras and shoot everything in Manual mode.  It is the rangefinder itself, at my age, that will be the real challenge.  Again, Thanks.

Sorry for my ignorance. I am new to the EVF Visoflex, upgraded from the M9.
When I mount my R 60mm. lens on ny Novoflex LEM/LER adapter , I cannot get Focus Peaking. It works with my M and LTM lenses.
Am I doing something wrong, as usual ?

Ynp, had you tried to focus at f/2.8 or close down ?

I was shooting a flower at about 1,4 m, at f4, if I remember correctly. After that I tried to shoot my neighbor at about 2 meters.
thank you for your prompt reply

Two things as I remember with the Macro-Elmarit-R 60mm and M10 :

- peaking is very faint when used more than 1m , I think that the fast focus ring has something to do

- push the magnifier button (front button) to help focus in any case

Thank you. I press the front button and there’s no magnification.
I have my camera with me now.
