Frankie Posted July 19, 2017 Share #43 Posted July 19, 2017 I'd like an M10...been waiting since the fat/ugly M8. The VF is barely wide enough for a 35mm lens...but my preferred 1C1L rig is only the 40mm FL. I'd use my 10 year old CV 40/1.4...unless Leica offers a Summicron something. I prefer not seeing big lenses blocking the VF...my CV 40/1.4 is equipped with a [home-made] hood completely recessed into the filter thread. All I am waiting for is for soemone to have a demo model to show...like to handle it a little making sure. Also waiting for "sudden death" reports that had plagued Leica since the M8...my hard-earn money will not be held hostage waiting for Wetzlar to respond. Stein K S Posted July 21, 2017 Share #44 Posted July 21, 2017 (edited) Both a cron 28 asph silver and a cron 28 asph black paint with red numbers is it? And both with the 12466 hoods... hmmm ;-) And by the way; the M10 is nothing less than amazing... the üser interphase¨ in spesific. tpf1952 Posted July 22, 2017 Share #45 Posted July 22, 2017 Count me in. Spent three days shooting interior/low light images with the M10, and 28 and 90mm Summilux lenses mostly at ISO 6400 and with the Visoflex. This wouldn't have worked on any previous iteration of the M series. I can set my Sony A7rII aside at last.
Al_OOF Posted July 22, 2017 Share #46 Posted July 22, 2017 The M10 is so easy to use that when I'm around to make pictures it almost disappear (if it were not for the weight) and it becomes an extension of my arm...

acolite Posted August 2, 2017 Share #48 Posted August 2, 2017 My M10 with all the accessories I bought for it. Artisan and Artist Red silk strap and black leather half case. Match Technical Thumbs-Up and Soft Release. Got a Expert Shield screen protector for it as well, slightly smaller than the actual screen, but after reading the comments on the one Leica offers, I wanted to get something better. Nordvik Posted August 16, 2017 Share #53 Posted August 16, 2017 The camera is OK, but I do not like the leather strap that came with it. It is too long and not adjustable. The earlier nylon strap was perfect. I use that older one for now, but I would think that since the M10 do not have any rubber pads the old strap will make scrub marks on the body. Or maybe not.
