I've been an avid digital M user since M8 days, and I must say the M10 strikes all the right notes to the point I couldn't find anything I didn't like about it except one thing, albeit minor one.

The LED light in the bottom left corner is just not gonna do... All previous digital M models had the LED on the bottom right which means it typically get covered by the hand and doesn't alert anyone unnecessarily especially when its dark.

Its minor fix with a tape but one I hope Leica will take into consideration on their next design.

It also blinks in your eye if you turn the camera vertically. I agree that this was an oversight. I can live with the minor flaw. Perfection is an illusion sought by those with a self fulfilling prophesy of disappointment.

Indeed, the light flashes in your eye creating an annoyance.

someone told me my camera looks expensive. Even after I put tape black tape over the logo. WTF. There's another complaint.

:-)

Silver or black? Black since you're using black tape, I assume.

If you really want to rough it up, cover as much of camera as possible with black masking tape. :-)

I finally had the cover the big fat red logo on my M4-P, got tired of my friends constantly giving me crap and saying "What's that big red button do slick?"

I once told a guy "It's a call button for your girlfriend".
