Mike CDR Posted February 8, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 8, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I got my new M10 today and started my setup. Everything was going well until I I have been tried to connect to the wifi. When I go to the WLAN and select the Fuction Sub Menu, it turns on and you then hit the Join WLAN then it scans and finds my network. So far everything is fine until to you go to your network, it asks for the password, but the rear monitor keyboard will NOT type in the password ? This type fuction on the monitor works fine when using in other menus, but will NOT type in the password. I reset the camera and tried other options, but it will not type. Has anyone experienced this problem, if so, please help !
Advertisement Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Hi Mike CDR, Take a look here New M10 Setup issues. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cookedart Posted February 8, 2017 Share #2 Posted February 8, 2017 It is in fact typing in your password even though it doesn't look like it. There currently is no feedback showing that you're actually typing currently. Just enter your entire password and hit enter, it will connect. This is a current bug for sure. Fireboy Posted February 8, 2017 Share #3 Posted February 8, 2017 I've also noticed it doesn't save the password and it has to be re-entered each time I want to connect.
Guest Posted February 8, 2017 Share #4 Posted February 8, 2017 That's highly intelligent. Not to show the password and also not to remember it.

UliWer Posted February 8, 2017 Share #6 Posted February 8, 2017 I am sure it does remember mine! Then I am sure your password begins with an "l" and ends with an "a" with something like "eic" in the middle.
Mike CDR Posted February 11, 2017 Author Share #7 Posted February 11, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for the feedback. I have entered my password dozens of times thinking it would connect, but It won't. I spoke with Tony at Pop Flash and he said he had another customer with the same issue. Hopefully it's just a firmware update, if not, I am hoping that I won't have to send it to Leica and wait months for the camera I've had for 5 days! Steve Ash Posted February 11, 2017 Share #8 Posted February 11, 2017 I contacted Leica regarding this issue. They replied it is fixed in the next firmware. They said it is a matter of weeks not month. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Pro
