michaelwj Posted January 30, 2017 Share #2  Posted January 30, 2017 Wow!  There are a few add ons there Akiva, which one is "The Snob"?
kivis Posted January 30, 2017 Author Share #3 Â Posted January 30, 2017 The round ball on the back at the upper right. Crazy, eh?
vanGeist Posted January 30, 2017 Share #4 Â Posted January 30, 2017 A hand grip may be a better choice in terms of ergonomics and handling.
michaelwj Posted January 30, 2017 Share #5 Â Posted January 30, 2017 What's it for?
250swb Posted January 30, 2017 Share #6 Â Posted January 30, 2017 Why not just use the film advance lever as a grip, it also puts your thumb where it needs to be, ready to advance the film?
Doc Henry Posted January 30, 2017 Share #7 Â Posted January 30, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Akiva IMO a M camera is discreet specailly for Street Photos shots I think you need only your hand grip, the rest I wonder if it is useful H
spydrxx Posted January 31, 2017 Share #8 Â Posted January 31, 2017 I use a circular (about 3/8") piece of Griptac. It sits almost flush and provides the right surface to prevent my thumb from sliding. In the past I've also used a small lightly maleable transparemt plastic furniture protector - total cost about $1 for a whole sheet of them.
michaelwj Posted February 1, 2017 Share #9 Â Posted February 1, 2017 Akiva, Â Does it get in the way of advancing the film? Â Also, what is all the stuff on the top plate for? Â (I assume that the eyepiece cover is for glasses and the film reminder is self explanatory)
kivis Posted February 1, 2017 Author Share #10 Â Posted February 1, 2017 Just curios as I do not own one. I usually have attached a small velcro patch just under the advance lever, but lately just go with out it.

Now that it appears that is not I can say that I think that it horrible! What an abomination! How dare anyone do THAT to a Leica!
