This one is a typical tourist snap in a well known location ... but look at the detail, the colours, the way the lens handles the backlight, the soft background. I am a talentless hack but the nice lens really makes a difference. Summilux 35/1.4 ASPH (non FLE).

Here is the color version of a picture that I posted in the B&W threadThis picture is at Dan Sing Khon, a town on the Burmese border. The view is the side of a jewelry shop, where people simply dump garbage, mostly plastic bags. Bangkok is generally a clean city, and so are small villages throughout Thailand. But in towns throughout the country, where  populations of various ethnic groups have have migrated and where traditional village life has broken down and modern city government has not yet emerged, garbage just piles up.

Yes you are correct, the first one is from M10. and the second one is from M9. the M9 color is more subtle and blend. yet very sharp and crispy. both are good and have their own character.

well if you have M9 then please keep it. it is sooo good. if you have M10 please get M9 before it runs out of good condition.

Thanks for that. This supports my view that the M10 is, like the M240, often way too yellow. And more and more I discover that it is very hard if not impossible to correct it in PP. I have the M10 since January and it went very well at the time that C1 did not have a specific M10 ICC-profile. But since 10.2 it’s rotten. The LR conversions are sometimes better in color but lack that depth that C1 gives. I’m going to sell my M10 I’m afraid. I still have my M9 and I love going back to that Kodachrome25 style.
