vidio1111 Posted January 14, 2017 Share #1 Posted January 14, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anyone heard any news about the range of shutter speeds on the M10? One of the things I like most about the SL is that the shutter speed can go up to 1/16000. This allows me to use the Noctilux and other high speed lenses in almost any kind of light. Since I bought the SL I abandoned the auto focus lenses - too slow, big and heavy. I use M lenses exclusively and I would likely return to the M body, but for the excellent EVF and the shutter speed options.

lct Posted January 14, 2017 Share #3 Posted January 14, 2017 Yes the mechanical shutter seems limited to 1/4000s (pic) but electronic shutters of modern cameras reach or exceed 1/8000s usually. No idea about the M10 in this respect though. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members!
