farnz Posted August 14, 2019 Author Share #4831 Posted August 14, 2019 (edited) My first shots with a 1970's Minolta Rokkor 85/2.8 Varisoft, which is the variable soft-focus lens, shot wide open on my M10. The lens is a continuously-variable soft-focus lens with four click-stops: 0 (sharp as normal), and three softness clicks. I've shown 0, 2, and 3 below to show the different effects. I've just acquired this lens so I'm starting from scratch. Soft focus is achieved by increasing Spherical Aberration but it looks as though the focal length and focus point alter also.
