Hi Wolan,

Please note the recent posts here about the LLL 50/2 Speed Panchro II.  If the lens is "current", ie still available to buy new, then I regret that it doesn't qualify for this thread.  Please refer to the opening post in this thread for more info.

Pete.

Sure, no problem, I'll not post here any more pictures from this lens.

I thought it could be considered an exception, as it is an exact copy of the original Cooke lens.

Cheers.

Nice use if the DR! Please do show the cyanotype once you are finished. I am curious (the view through older glass through an even older printing technique)…

Many thanks:

Yesterday's print (borders slightly screwed up, slightly overexposed)
Today's print after overnight bleaching in a weak solution of calcium carbonate/distilled water.
And final result after toning with a hot purple smoke-bush leaves tea made with distilled water.

50 DR did wonders here.  I did some calculations about DoF, and at widest aperture it produces one of the shallowest focusing of any Leica lens, simply because of the close focus.  Not quite up to 10x8 large format standards, you understand (😄 ), but doing well.  Also focus drop-off working very nicely here.
