Ecar Posted April 12, 2013 Share #1161 Posted April 12, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Stan, Could you please move spelling or grammar arguments to the bar, to pm's or to any other place you see fit - so that this thread remains "focused" on images from old lenses? Be assured that we have all taken good note that you don't like their results and that you think most people here are technically inept. Now, if you could please stop trying to enlighten us... farnz Posted April 14, 2013 Author Share #1173 Posted April 14, 2013 . Uncoated 1935 Carl Zeiss Jena 13.5 cm f/4 Sonnar in Contax RF mount with adaptor by Amadeo Muscelli. The lens suffers from veiling glare (flare) even with a hood in brightish light so I've added some contrast during post processing to balance it to where it should be minus the veiling glare; it's a common occurrence with uncoated lenses - even Sonnars that resist flare well. I took the shot at f/5.6 and 1/180th and the b&w conversion was done in Nik Silver Efex. Pete. Welcome, dear visitor!
