The final image - other than a slight crop, essentially this is essentially as it came out of the camera.

Thanks for looking,

Too many images too poor photography. Underwhelming.

Please, if you want to critique do so with arguments, not with a rude dismissal.

However, I fully agree with the remark about the number of photographs. The technical threads are meant to have illustrative images only and not a large number of photographs for display. We have the photo forums and image threads for that purpose. Otherwise members would have to wade through dozens of irrelevant posts to discover the technical subjects.

Stated my opinion. Is your statement less "rude" mr moderator ? Or just you have more privileges to express what you want to say but I can't?

There are a vast array of technically poor, artistically inept and downright boring images posted on the Leica forum.......

...... in fact several posters seem chronically unable to take an in-focus picture and one habitually over-processes to the point where they look like comic book illustrations (not the SL section, I hasten to add...) The M10 example thread is currently dull as dishwater. I could go on....

However, if THEY think they are worthy of general viewing then I am loathe to criticise ..... as beauty is in the eye of the beholder ..... and no doubt somebody out there thinks all my photos are crap as well.

If they specifically ask for 'constructive' criticism I will give it, otherwise I am happy just to let things pass without comment.

Meerec ..... My post was intended as a gentle biblical reminder ....  John 8:7, viz. “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone"  :)

Some may argue that this forum is 'too gentlemanly' ...... but I think most of us prefer it that way.
