wattsy Posted March 26, 2010 Share #1524 Posted March 26, 2010 Clearly not an MP but rather an M7 with MP controls I'm sure it's a great camera to use but the MP style wind lever just doesn't look right with the big chunky M7 shutter speed dial. Dare I say it looks a bit ugly?
Eisemann Posted March 26, 2010 Share #1525 Posted March 26, 2010 Dare I say that I was not seeking an opinion. Simply posted as a representation of an M7 with MP controls and nothing heroic implied.

Guest dk_samurai Posted March 28, 2010 Share #1529 Posted March 28, 2010 Same MPs, different table! I like the black chrome MPs more than the black paint ones. If the person who bought your black chromes want to sell them again, please let me be the first to know! /David

Stealth3kpl Posted April 2, 2010 Share #1531 Posted April 2, 2010 Here's mine with the two bricks of PKM that arrived today. Going to use a roll or two to shoot the eclipse on the 22nd, and want to try to shoot it from the peak of Fuji. How did the trip go? Did you manage some shots? ezc203 Posted April 2, 2010 Share #1532 Posted April 2, 2010 Love your set up Azzo, and your pictures are amazing. However, as a Fiorentina fan, I cannot say I approve of your avatar PS: What does everyone think about the Hammertone MP? Thinking about joining this group with either a Hammie or a Black Paint MP. Guest Joachim_I Posted April 6, 2010 Share #1535 Posted April 6, 2010 What does everyone think about the Hammertone MP? Thinking about joining this group with either a Hammie or a Black Paint MP. I have one and like it. When I bought it, it was cheaper than a regular MP. You don't see any finger prints on the Hammertone and the surface does not get cold in cold weather. Apart from that, it just looks great in my opinion, in particular with chrome lenses.

jacksparrow Posted April 8, 2010 Share #1539 Posted April 8, 2010 How can that be? temperature-insensitive fingertips?
Guest Joachim_I Posted April 8, 2010 Share #1540 Posted April 8, 2010 (edited) temperature-insensitive fingertips? Brilliant A relatively thick layer of lacquer obviously helps to isolate from the cold metal. Believe it or not, a hammertone MP is much more comfortable in cold weather than any chrome M. Don't know if the same holds for the black paint models. Edited April 8, 2010 by Joachim_I
