Anyone would share experiences? Grip, tactile feeling, handling... Thanks a lot IMHO the current covering (like on the M6) material is ok. The MP’s version by contrast feels a bit like sandpaper - also ok once you get used to it. However, in both cases I always use an external grip or leicavit on those. Nothing beats the Vulcanite on my M3, no grip needed…

My first M6 Titan had real leather, my MP a la carte too, but I still think this one in the picture feels te best: The others are a little thicker. 1

If it bubbles it must be a mistake in production: My first MP i kept for 10 years, did not bubble, my second a MP a la carte had ostrich leather with natural bubbles, but I traded it for an M240 or M10 I don’t remember. My 3th MP had the sandpaper again and it did nog bubble even after surviving the army truck fall ? ( Must be somewhere in the thread ) and my 4th one has one bubble where the screw is, but is in service now, maybe they get it away. now i think of it, MP must be a kind of addiction , because everytime i sell one, I buy another after 3 years missing it. The first one I bought in the beginning of this thread new : the price: €2200,- with new leicavit . The last was €4000,- . But they are just like Rolex watches: if you wait long enough, you can sell the for more than wat you payed for it. At least I did… so experiment which the leather or not you like. A la carte ostrich. 135 lens with the MP ( ostrich or not ) is just a nice picture. ☺️ Edited November 13 by Paulus
