He was very disappointed when I told him he couldn’t go for a swim, he’d already put his goggles on.

You always have interesting lenses! Which ones are these? And the camera in the first picture looks a bit like a Frankenstein: M3 top but battery compartment!

Hello Christoph,

the lens on the black MP is a 35 summilux pre asph v2 ex cine version

The silver lens is a 28mm f4.5 Foca Oplex.

Back in 2009, I had an M7 that needed service (another story). I brought it to Leica Miami to send in to Solms. ( I find that always go through a dealer, things happen faster). In the meantime Leica Miami gave me a loaner from that Promo collection. Thanks guys.

Chrome shutter button surround & hotshoe stripped to brass and re-painted black by Kanto while the camera was at their shop for their CLA/overhaul service.   (The other blacked out features such as the bottom plate lock, unfilled engravings and no top script were original to the camera from the A La Carte program).

This is madness!!! My lord what a beauty!
Where do you hide the serial number?

Where was the repaint done?

Thank you , there  was no repaint job done . All parts are original Leica from M2, M3, M4, M6 Millenium and MP cameras.
