Added a Leica Q a year ago and really don't like it. Mindless shooting - just like a point and shoot! However, it is more capable at night, and it is suitable for fast captures of moving objects, so I'll keep it.

I usually use my Q in manual focus, choosing an aperture, letting it choose shutter within my auto-ISO parameters... sort of like an M with a 28 Summilux. I love it.

I'm sure that you would take better images than the mindless robot P&S decisions!

Thanks for your comments. You are absolutely correct. This week I've been processing my Q Raw images from a trip last month and I realise that I do have some awsome images. I am a big fan of the auto ISO which seems to work fine for me and I'm used to manual focus. My only misgivings about the Q that remain are that i find the the Q limits creativity through the limitations of the focal length when really I prefer to choose a lens appropriate to my surroundings - especially my 50 lux and 21SEM and even a 75mm and I can't carry two bodies + lenses (Q & M9). BUT I've decided to persevere and maybe change the M9 for a later M.
