robert blu Posted December 1, 2016 Share #9 Posted December 1, 2016 opps, not sure what to say ! Love your photo with the T and Nikkor lenses, sharp and good colors. Just a question about focusing: do you focus wide opened and than close the aperture before shooting or do you have any other procedure? When I tested the T in a shop I found manual focusing easy enough wide open, but more difficult when stopped down. robert PS: yes, it's a good photo
Louis Posted December 2, 2016 Author Share #10 Posted December 2, 2016 opps, not sure what to say ! Love your photo with the T and Nikkor lenses, sharp and good colors. Just a question about focusing: do you focus wide opened and than close the aperture before shooting or do you have any other procedure? When I tested the T in a shop I found manual focusing easy enough wide open, but more difficult when stopped down. robert PS: yes, it's a good photo Thanks very much, Robert. Indeed, focusing is very easy with T and its magnifier. In the beginning when I had the camera, I was hoping for a focus peaking, but very soon I realized this option is really not much needed with the magnifier and the excellent Visoflex. As you mentioned, I always focus with wide open lens to make sure my main subject is in focus; then, depending on how much shallow background I chose, I turn the aperture! Thanks again for your feedback.

otto.f Posted December 4, 2016 Share #15 Posted December 4, 2016 Nice event that you came across Louis. But more a merit of the ones that invented and wear these trousers than a merit of the photographer. I really like your work thus far Louis but this is photographically not much of an achievement
Louis Posted December 4, 2016 Author Share #16 Posted December 4, 2016 Nice event that you came across Louis. But more a merit of the ones that invented and wear these trousers than a merit of the photographer. I really like your work thus far Louis but this is photographically not much of an achievement Dear otto, you are totally right! Very often, a photographer must be lucky enough to be at a right place and time to just push the little button! I am sure that most of the people with a camera would have taken this shot only because it was amusing, in my humble opinion! I would, as I am sure many others would, take the picture of an UFO landing, if I had that chance; and, of course, I wouldn't deserve any credit as a photographer since I was just happened to be there when it happened!
