Advertisement Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Hi deep_blue, Take a look here Helicoid adapter for leica M-lenses to Leica T / SL body. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
antigallican Posted April 25, 2017 Share #22 Â Posted April 25, 2017 I havent used this but I bought a Kipon Fuji adapter a few years ago and found it quite crudely made - bad enough I wouldn't buy another. blacksinner Posted April 25, 2017 Share #23  Posted April 25, 2017 I have the hawks adapter. I think its quite useful for my voigtlander 50mm f1.1 which has 1meter min focus. I'm not sure what other application to use beside this lens. There is voigtlander 40mm f2.8 heliar vm-e lens that i used to adore. For macro i think real macro lens is more useful. The built quality of the adapter is very good. It has smooth ring. But it allow you to past infinity focus. So you cannot set the lens to infinity to focus. You have to pullback a little. It has some uses, but not very often though   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

deep_blue Posted June 28, 2017 Author Share #26 Â Posted June 28, 2017 any experiences with the KIPON-adapter? Â I ordered a KIPON helicoid Leica M > Leica SL adapter via ebay to check it out. It fits perfectly on the camera but I was not able to fix any lens on the adapter - I could not turn the lenses far enough to snap into the mechanism. Â I reported the problem to the seller and will send back the adapter. Â That was not exactly what I expected from a 195$-adapter...

deep_blue Posted May 18, 2018 Author Share #28 Â Posted May 18, 2018 I returned the adapter and received a replacement without any problems. The new adapter works fine, lenses fit tight // quality is not on leica-level but absolutely ok.

marduk Posted October 6, 2024 Share #30 Â Posted October 6, 2024 I have never seen a Hawks adapter for sale, at least not in Europe, but other options are: - Shoten macro adapter M-to-L - Light Lens Lab close focus adapter. Has anyone used the above adapters on the SL?
