It quickly becomes apparent that the L system will be extremely versatile if the L alliance is fully compatible.  It remains to be seen about Panasonic's lens IQ.

If I want to use Panasonic lenses Ill buy a Panasonic  camera

So I'm sure folks have put a 23mm Summicron-TL on their SL, like I have. It's a great setup, pace the 10mb files.

I would love a full-frame-coverage 35mm f2 or f2.8 lens of basically those dimensions for the L system. It should be doable. Obviously, Leica has made their 35mm Summicron-SL statement, so I'll be looking at what Panasonic and Sigma produce.
