Know all over the Nikon community from when it was released, it also has a great deal of field curvature. The new Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 E is performing much better, more uniform at all focal lengths, even on the D810. I have used the SL and lenses - it is a wonderful tool however I got a D810 instead for my type of work, and kept my M9 as well. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It obviously depends on the task to be solved. It is my assessment based on my needs that I find more D810 Pro, and not to say that other cameras are not. As I have written, I am very happy with my SL, specially because of the really good lenses. When I think that the D810 is a "More Pro" camera, then it is for the many customization options. As you put it, so it depends of course on the job. Gordon, you write that you are pleased using flash. Do you have experience with SF 64 used as master and slave? Albert No. I don't use Leica flashes off camera, or TTL for that matter. I shoot OCF extensively, using both Elinchrom and Godox flashes but all manual. I tried it when I shot Canon and it was so much faster and easier *for me* to shoot with manual output that I went back and stayed there. The SF64 only has a dumb slave mode and doesn't do TTL or even auto when off camera. So you'd be full manual anyway. Gordon Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
