psquared Posted June 12, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted June 12, 2007 Stuart and Al, Thank you. That ray of light was the neighbor's rain gutter, but out of focus it looks pretty good. Peter
dan_drabek Posted June 12, 2007 Share #5 Posted June 12, 2007 Very nice. I think the one at the top may be the best of your series, though it may have a bit of a green cast. Good work. DD

peter55 Posted June 13, 2007 Share #7 Posted June 13, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Very nice, I have an Sigma 800 f/5.6 and use it on all my Canon cameras for birding. You are getting very good clear images. Just curious is your lens a Sigma?
psquared Posted June 13, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted June 13, 2007 DD, Armin, and Peter, Thank you for your comments. DD, I believe you're right about the green cast. I took some of the green out, and it looks better. Peter, I've heard many good things about the Sigma 800/5.6. This one is from the Leica Module System. At this long focal length, a sturdy support and good long-lens technique are a must. I'm still learning, but I'm getting more and more comfortable at this range.
