Clook Posted July 31, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 31, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello again to some of you. Just getting to grips with a D Lux 109 after using M8's for nearly 10 years. First impressions are of a strange free feeling, kind of "no stress". Will hopefully get back to posting regularly here. Clook Posted August 2, 2016 Author Share #5 Posted August 2, 2016 Hi Stuart, all well here. The book of the film is with the publisher, just waiting on a print date and been speaking to another producer about a story that came out of the first load of research. Retirement finally got to me and I re-trained as a paramedic, working part time and loving it! It seems that retirement means you swop one old job for three new ones! leica dream Posted August 2, 2016 Share #6 Posted August 2, 2016 Lovely image. I nearly bought a D-Lux 109 last year but settled for a C-Lux instead as for me that was lighter and more pocketable. I found that when I did not have my V-Lux with me I was losing opportunistic spontaneity. Your image proves the D's abilities beautifully. mikemgb Posted August 2, 2016 Share #7 Posted August 2, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice photograph! I've owned the D-Lux since March, I'm continually impressed with it. It replaced my Nikon DSLR, I find it so good. And when I'l not carrying it I have a C-Lux 2 in my pocket so as not to miss a shot.
