albertknappmd Posted November 15, 2016 Share #81 Posted November 15, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I hope that they remove the default when using the 2 or 12 second delay. I would like to see the updated firmware allow you to continue in delay mode if you so wish! Albert

Sulis Posted November 15, 2016 Share #82 Posted November 15, 2016 The one change that would make the most difference to the way I use my Q is to be able to switch Focus modes more easily. At the moment, moving from single point AF to Face Detection or Touch focus is far too cumbersome for real life (which changes rapidly). I have to use three of my four profile options just to be able to switch around AF modes. What a waste. Ideally, make this one of the options on the button at the top right (can't remember what it's called, but it defaults to Crop modes), or at least make it an FN button option. Herve5 Posted November 15, 2016 Share #85 Posted November 15, 2016 Wish : become compatible with the faster USB 3.1 standard. That would probably be a first in the camera world, and a very reasonable answer to those dreaming of a (super slow) wifi RAW transfer...
spylaw4 Posted November 16, 2016 Share #86 Posted November 16, 2016 Individually nameable profiles. After all, the alpha-numerics are in there already for the wi-fi.

cccaaarrr Posted November 22, 2016 Share #89 Posted November 22, 2016 Just guess, since M10 may use the same CMOS as Q/SL, the new f/w for Q might be released after the new M10 released, with some optimizations on CMOS & Maestro II as M10.
Guest Posted November 24, 2016 Share #90 Posted November 24, 2016 I would love to see an option for different frame guides. 1:1 16:9 2.30:1 etc.
AndyyEpp Posted November 26, 2016 Share #91 Posted November 26, 2016 It is quite easy to forget which settings have been allocated to which User Profile. It would be very helpful if the title "User Profile" could be edited with a personal title so it would have more meaning to the owner +

creidtaylor Posted November 26, 2016 Share #93 Posted November 26, 2016 Agreed that it should be easier to change focus modes... seems like at least a spot on the Function button.
Eric8255 Posted December 17, 2016 Share #94 Posted December 17, 2016 My Wish List: 1. Firmware Update to allow touch focus (+shutter release if required) when using the EVF. 2. Firmware update mapping focus modes to FN buttons as we cannot change the focus mode without going into menu and sub menu. A particular problem when going from touch focus on the LCD to 1 point the on EVF - see also 1 above. 3. 4K Video PLEASE - that I understand from posts elsewhere several months ago that this was to be implemented once the overheating problem had been solved - surely this must have been solved by now. All of these "wishes" have been implemented by Panasonic on their cameras and Panasonic handles Leica Q electronics and are not exotic. They are basic functions that (in the case of 1 & 2) enhance the minimalist ethos as they lead to less button pushes allowing more concentration on composition an more chance of capturing the 'decisive moment". NERICSSON Posted December 17, 2016 Share #95 Posted December 17, 2016 I would like to see the wheel as option to change the iso settings. That way all essentials, shutter aperture and iso, would be available for easy "mechanical" adjustment /Niklas
martenw Posted December 25, 2016 Share #96 Posted December 25, 2016 Manual Video, Manual Video, Manual Video! Can't think of a reason not to allow it with a setting in the Video-menu? Please Leica, pretty please!
DrQ Posted December 31, 2016 Share #97 Posted December 31, 2016 1. Remove video option from set button (we have a red record button already!). I end up in video record all the time for some reason but I want to shoot stills!!! 2. Allow to assign any function to FN button. Current options are too limited. 3. Name custom profiles

Stonewall Brigade Posted January 9, 2017 Share #99 Posted January 9, 2017 My firmware wish list? (1) A 2 to 12 second timer that doesn't turn off and have to be reset each time you turn the Q's main switch off and back on (2) Alternate frame line perspective, like square 1:1 (3) More black & white shooting options, such as with red, yellow or orange filters
