Advertisement Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Hi jaapv, Take a look here 'Rain Coat' for wet weather. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pgk Posted August 1, 2016 Share #42 Posted August 1, 2016 How about using an umbrella? (My favoured approach) Many years ago I photographed the first London Marathon and was required to wear an Umbrella hat to do so - effective but not a good look . Paulus Posted August 1, 2016 Share #43 Posted August 1, 2016 One hand to focus, one hand to release and your third hand to hold the umbrella? It works great with my Nikon D3
harmen Posted August 1, 2016 Share #44 Posted August 1, 2016 Balancing it on my head while having the handle pushed against the chest with the left upper arm works reasonably
Paulus Posted August 1, 2016 Share #45 Posted August 1, 2016 Unfortunately I have made very bad experiences with supposedly waterproof wristwatches. waterproof wristwatches are only waterproof, if they are serviced every year. According to my wristwatch dealer. I'm talking about divers watches with WR ( waterrisistant ) 200/300 meters and 500/1000m. The 50/100 m watches are just a little splasch proof. Brett Cambern Posted August 1, 2016 Share #46 Posted August 1, 2016 Original shutter that came with the camera as new 9 months ago (that's right, only 9 months old) 2nd shitter approximately 4 weeks ago, but the replacement is malfunctioning too, so back again for a 3rd shutter. Nice Freudian slip... :-)

Fang Posted August 5, 2016 Share #48 Posted August 5, 2016 I use the hotel shower cap to protect my Leica M. Simple and cheap or should I say free.
Chuck Albertson Posted August 6, 2016 Share #49 Posted August 6, 2016 I wouldn't go swimming with it, but it rains a lot in Seattle, and my Monochrom has lasted through three years of it without shorting out. It's a good idea to carry a bar towel to mop up excess moisture.
