About five years ago the American Museum of natural history completed its replacement for the 1930s Hayden Planetarium -- The Rose Center Hayden Planetarium, and it is stunning. Here's one interior shot (I have a few more on the 3rd New York photo page of our site). The huge orb in the center houses the theater, and a spiral ramp encirles it with exhibits from top to bottom. On the ground floor are some interesting thing, including scales which show your weight a various places within the Solar System. Kids seem to love their weight on Jupiter, and heavy adults crowd around the moon's scale. This photo, and the others in this venu on our site, I shot with the FX01. Certainly not my DMR, but pretty amazing, and so tiny.

Thank you. The camera is ideal for when I do not want something large or heavy (and it helps keep us from looking like tourists). there is no question, though, that the camera has its limitations.
