albertknappmd Posted July 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wish that Wetzlar would add back the option of having the regular and RGB histograms on the LED display. Right now you have to summon them! If any of you agree, please state it and let us hope Wetzlar monitors this discourse. Albert
Advertisement Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Hi albertknappmd, Take a look here 007 Firmware Wish. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

albertknappmd Posted July 18, 2016 Author Share #3 Posted July 18, 2016 No one has noted or been disturbed by the lack of either a B&W or RGB histogram following a shot on the LED? As of now, you have to summon it each time... Albert
RVB Posted July 18, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 18, 2016 I would like to add something to that wish, a Hasselblad style menu option of choosing focus range for the macro lens, this would make the lens more versatile! One other thing would be an option for focus stacking!!
xiaubauu2009 Posted July 19, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 19, 2016 I would like to add something to that wish, a Hasselblad style menu option of choosing focus range for the macro lens, this would make the lens more versatile! One other thing would be an option for focus stacking!! Focus Stacking, that's useful, the ability to add histogram as an option to display every time in preview/review is also good... Basically most of the function that the Phaseone XF is offering is good... using the gyrometer inside the body to decide when is the best time to take the shot as to make sure the body is absolutely static... I have just received my 007 and spent 4 hours trying to work out how to get the histogram like the S2 and even the 006. All i can manage is a little shite histogram in the top left corner of previewing an image then pressing more info on that image. I need to be able to see the histogram clearly without my reading glasses on! Doesn't anyone else use their histogram??? I don't wear my reading glasses in the field and for me the availability of a large histogram is imperative. a bit miffed right now... :-)

Vieri Posted November 21, 2016 Share #8 Posted November 21, 2016 I do landscape, so I really need just a few things, which might be pretty easy to do: - Long exposures, say up to 30 minutes at least; - Long exposures, up to 30 minute would be fine; - No really, can we have long exposures, about 30 minutes, please; - Possibility to do Exposure Compensation directly using the top wheel when in A mode (as in the Leica SL); - A more precise electronic level; Other than that, I think it's pretty perfect for landscape photography. However, without long exposures it is a crippled camera for Landscape, which is really a pity since it has everything else: weather-sealed, sharp lenses, relatively small and light. I really hope Leica reads this and that they will pay attention. Best, Vieri
FlashGordonPhotography Posted November 21, 2016 Share #9 Posted November 21, 2016 What he said.. Plus remove mandatory LENR. Gordon
Vieri Posted November 22, 2016 Share #10 Posted November 22, 2016 What he said.. Plus remove mandatory LENR. Gordon That'd be useful too. Forgot to mention, choice of exposure compensation in 1/3 of a stop (if there is already a way to set it up that way, I simply couldn't find it)
SaW Posted November 22, 2016 Share #11 Posted November 22, 2016 I would like to see a 1/3 f option for auto iso setting. 1/2 f is too slow (some motion blur) and 1/4 f a bit too much, raising the iso set uselessly high
albireo_double Posted November 22, 2016 Share #12 Posted November 22, 2016 I'd like flash system compatibility with Nikon (just like Hasselblad X1D). The hot shoe pins are already in the same physical arrangement, so the rest is just FW? Ok, for those of us who already own Leica speedlites, make it switchable/selectable in the menu. I guess not going to happen but would be so useful - so many 3rd party radio triggers out there, incl. TTL, that are Nikon compatible. None that are Leica compatible.
