roelandinho Posted July 4, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello fellow forum members. This image was shot last weekend. The weather was changing very rapidly, the sun still shining brightly but at the same time very dark clouds approaching behind us. It's inspired by the well known work of Edvard Munch (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scream) and is intended to be somewhat comical. :-) As usual, I would like to hear what you think, your thoughts about the composition, the subject, the story, and the processing. I welcome and will consider all forms of constructive criticism. Thank you.

epand56 Posted July 4, 2016 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2016 I like the picture, the composition (you could maybe getting a little bit closer to the figure) and the humor as well as the processing, but, to me, the frame is too much.
A miller Posted July 4, 2016 Share #3 Posted July 4, 2016 Lovely photo, and i appreciate it more with the context that you provided. I dont know if it would improve anything, but you might consider chopping off a bit of the right side of the photo so that the woman's nose is exactly along the right third of the frame. This way the eye starts from the left and is drawn across the frame with the diagonal line of the row of the buildings and the curved lines of the buggy tracks, each leading to the woman. Just my two cents...
jaapv Posted July 4, 2016 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2016 Not bad at all, but somehow you should process it in an even more sinister/dramatic way, to emphasize your pastiche. Edvard Munch used a rather muddy palette to emphasize his state of mind. YMMV, of course.
stuny Posted July 4, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 4, 2016 Lovely, but the pose feels just a bit too posed.
