The promotion is a rip off :( :(

I just called Singapore and they said that I would need to give them my 006 plus S$18250 and for that you get a new S007 plus spare battery. In other words you give them your camera plus USD13500 to get the 007 making your 11 month old  S006 worth USD3400

Malaysia promotion is also tied to Leica Singapore as you have to pay Leica Malaysia RM55,000,00 ~the same as S$18250

Leica Singapore is a JOKE. You can get an S-007 for $$13,500 USD NEW if you look around. No need to let your perfectly good S-006 go to waste.

Neil, can you tell me where you got this deal? I was offered a deal to trade in my 006 against a 2nd 007 but it was more expensive.

it was a one off at Ffordes in Scotland. I say one off as Leica screwed up after I already paid for the camera so they backed off and let my deal go through. It's worth contacting Alister though and see what he can do??
