ShawnK Posted June 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2016 Wonderful statement image on Press Photographer, wonder what HCB would say? I guess they tend to fear that w/o those 'Huge' lenses. people will misjudge them as a mere photographer. Yesterday's parade for Cavs Victory celebration, a Canon photographer w/super zoom on the stage shooting LaBron & he was within 5'..
FrancoisF Posted June 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted June 29, 2016 Excellent shot. You can guess in his eyes that he lived a lot of adventures in his life. I mean he haven't shot only motorshows! Regards. Francois
zlatkob Posted June 29, 2016 Share #5 Posted June 29, 2016 Wonderful statement image on Press Photographer, wonder what HCB would say? Yesterday's parade for Cavs Victory celebration, a Canon photographer w/super zoom on the stage shooting LaBron & he was within 5'.. Press photographers work with an obligation to create good and useful photos but often don't know how close they'll be able to get. Hence they are likely to carry a couple of zooms with a range from 16mm to 200mm or longer. It's not about showing "huge" lenses but about guaranteeing the picture. They don't have the luxury of "maybe" getting the shot.
