Michael Geschlecht Posted June 16, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello Andreas, I was just checking in my Personal This & That and noticed that the messages in my storage had been reduced from more than 50 (I think 64) to 4 previous messages & 1 new message that had recently arrived. A perfectly nice message from a perfectly nice Forum Member. But:The majority of my previous more than 50 messages have apparently gone elsewhere. An elsewhere that I have not been able to locate. Background: When the Forum changed to the current system a number of things happened:Allowable messages went from 75 to 50 And:For me, a large number of earlier previously deleted messages were grouped together with the messages that I had been saving from before the changeover giving me a total of 150 or so messages to sort thru & reduce to 50 or less. At various times I have deleted various messages & had the number down to (I think) 64. Around 100 or more messages had been deleted. Not too many to go to reduce the number to the requisite 50 or less. Tonite I went to try to reduce the number further & found that all of the earlier messages except 4 had gone elsewhere & there was 1 new message, which I read. Questions: Why did this happen?Did this happen to any other Forum Members?What happened to the missing messages? Is it possible to get them back?
