Advertisement Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Hi Guest, Take a look here THE FISHERMAN OF NOUADHIBOU ( MAURITANIA ) . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
johnwolf Posted December 15, 2016 Share #22 Posted December 15, 2016 A really excellent photograph, with an interesting subject and setting, good timing, and strong composition. I have to say, though, that the processing and hyper-digital look robs the photo of its appeal for me. I know it's a matter of preference, but I feel a more natural treatment would better suit this subject. Maybe I've just been looking at too much B&W film photography lately. GLOBETROTTER Posted December 19, 2016 Author Share #23 Posted December 19, 2016 No matter if the fisherman is right-handed or left, but please show something more of his face. Well he was working and focusing his attention on what he was doing....... Is not a model.

david strachan Posted December 19, 2016 Share #25 Posted December 19, 2016 Yes, modern lenses are cruel. I don't mind the image left or right. The cloud and the fishing line are a nice brightness...I'd just dodge the face 1/2 or 1 stop brighter. Being human we are drawn to faces...but the cloud is so important too. really a beaut picture, and one good for debate. Well done, very nice. cheers... Guest Posted December 19, 2016 Share #26 Posted December 19, 2016 Well he was working and focusing his attention on what he was doing....... Is not a model. You're absolutely right, never thought to change his position, but to the possibility of lighting his face a little bit by post-processing.
