I live in the Atlanta metro area and need to have the sensor on my M9-P cleaned. I called Leica in NJ and there is a 2-3 week turnaround on having git cleaned there. Since I need it cleaned for a major assignment I leave on in two weeks, sending it to Leica isn't an option and PPR in Atlanta won't touch it. Does anyone know of a quality sensor cleaner in the Atlanta metro area or in the Southeastern US? Thanks

Thanks, I was thinking of them or KEH. I have a call into KEH and will also call Showcase. I was hoping to find someone would had their sensor cleaned and had a positive experience. I have heard from two separate sources after having two different place sin Atlanta clean their sensor that they ended up suing the place for ruining their sensor. I obviously want to avoid that.

I went to Showcase a few months ago for one of their sale days and there was a guy there cleaning camera sensors. He didn't do a good job on my M-E. I later found out this was his first cleaning on a Leica. I checked my sensor later that day and it looked worst than before. I do a better job then he did for $30. I don't remember his name but claimed to be a camera repairman. Send it to Leica!

I'm going to send my car to Mitsubishi to get washed...

Seriously - I do not understand this desire to spend money and be out of a camera for a while - a long while if you send it to Leica- on a job that is easily done oneself.

The quality sensor cleaning service in your area is called Mark Maio and is located in your home.
