What a character!  You have captured so much of his personality in this shot that you can be forgiven for having the closest eye to the camera not as sharp as it could be.  Looks like you were wide open ;>)

Yes, great personality portrayed.

I would crop a large slice off the LH side to increase visual strength.

Pjay has commented that 'near' eye is not in focus. I say, so what. Why should it be. Then the 'far' eye would probably be OOF.

None of that is really important. It is an image with impact. Sharp is a poor second in importance.

Playing with focus would probably meanwhile lose 'the capture'.

Thanks Erl and pjay!!! I will give a crop a try as suggested and repost. I did this crop in posting to my Instagram account @sblitz1. Thanks again for comments and suggestions.
