Advertisement Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Hi mrmiles, Take a look here raw images and iphoto. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mgcd Posted June 7, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted June 7, 2007 Unfortunately, iPhoto does not support RAW. Additionally, Apple has yet to support DNG from the DMR, Leica's best digital bar none, and the M8 at the OS level.
Eoin Posted June 7, 2007 Share #3 Â Posted June 7, 2007 Sandisk card readers are about the best, but it's a bit pointless seeing as core image framework does not natively support the M8 DNG Â If your using a M8, you can hack the raw.plist to recognise M8 files after they have been passed through the Adobe DNG Converter. Â This will then allow applications such as Aperture, iPhoto, viewer to use these converted DNGs. Â Here is a link regarding hacking the raw.plist for aperture but in essence it's the same procedure for iPhoto, we're just fooling the core image framework. Â This will only work for M8 DNG's and will not work for DMR DNGs period.
