Leicaiste Posted May 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica should offer a second type of S-Adapter-L : A tilt-shift S-Adapter-L. It would be amazing with the Super-Elmar-S 24mm f/3.5 Asph. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 Hi Leicaiste, Take a look here Leica Super-Elmar-S 24mm f/3.5 Asph. on the SL - Tilt-Shift ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gpwhite Posted May 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2016 Great idea, but I do not see the available image circle being nearly large enough. As it is, there is already noticeable vignetting. IMHO, the S-24 is the best fully WA ever (even nicer than the Zeiss 38mm Biogon), but the unparalleled corner performance ( ) would be gone at greater circumference, I am afraid. FlashGordonPhotography Posted May 28, 2016 Share #3 Posted May 28, 2016 I agree. I'm not sure if a 20% increase in image circle is enough to warrant the expense of a shift adaptor. Especially as we will be able to use the wonderful Canon T/S lenses by August. Gordon
peterv Posted May 29, 2016 Share #4 Posted May 29, 2016 All true, but how about APS-C mode? I understand the wider VOF would suffer, but if one is able to create enough distance, the LP/mm of the lens seems to be generous enough for very dense pixels. I know it's an amazing lens on my S2-P.
