Huelight camera profiles

Anyone on the forum tried or heard of the Huelight camera profiles for the XV. The profiles cost $15.00 and I have seen some good reports about them on the Pentax forum, When I checked out the website I noticed they do profiles for a couple of Leica cameras. They seem to be better than the standard Adobe profiles for Lightroom.

I like  my X2's DNGs and the in camera JPGs 

To me the X2 files have a unique "look" and are a great place to start.

I dont see the need for messing with additional profiles.

Any tweaks and changes i'll do in LR or PS.

 

 

But if you spring for it let me know how it works for you. Curious what about your X1 don't you like?...Can you define "better"?

 

I think you should really step outside the box and spring for a set or two of VSCO film profiles...some of those are really cool

I do my own profiles using the colour checker passport, but I was just curios to see if anyone had used the Huelight profiles and if they made a differance.

I recently bought their profiles for my Nikon Df and I really like them. It's no kind of magic, but they are useful.

Their answer mail in which they send the download link doesn't seem to work with some mail providers, though. (Yes, I have checked my spam filters!)
But their communication was prompt and effective.
