ed_oneal Posted August 2, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 2, 2006 To bad the grafitti spoils what is otherwise a superb B&W shot.
stuny Posted August 2, 2006 Share #3 Posted August 2, 2006 Bernardo - Your usual exemplary use of geometry to produce a wonderful photo with perfect tones & textures. This feels like a B&W combination of Magrite and Hopper.
MrEd Posted August 3, 2006 Share #4 Posted August 3, 2006 Hi Bernardo, This is one of those photographs that makes me stop and think about it for a while. Great shot. Thanks for sharing. Ed. .
semrich Posted August 3, 2006 Share #5 Posted August 3, 2006 Hi Bernardo, The sense of poise and dignity the gentleman exhibits makes it seem as if time has stopped. The light is wonderful off of his hair and shoulder, his shadow, the street disappearing into infinity, and the tones make this, to my eye, and excellent composition.
