Here's something that caught my eye whilst out on my state sanctioned daily permissible walk

Taken with the 240 and the summarit 35, which I'd half forgotten I had since getting the CV35 (and I only own 5 lens so to neglect one is pretty dumb), I'd forgotten how small and light it was, and a far nicer design than the CV35/1.7. (I think the CV offers more in the IQ department and it's a stop faster and 60+% cheaper)

I'm getting bored of lockdown, still I went for my state approved local walk for exercise and saw... pretty much zilch!

I'm basically a 50mm (or FOV equivalent back in the crop sensor days) guy.

Then when I got a 35mm on FF I enjoyed and used it way more than 23mm on APSC

Then late last summer I got the widest lens (in terms of FOV) I've ever had - the Zeiss 21mm 2.8

I wouldn't say this has become a go too FL for me 😅

But during summer it was my most used lens, accounting for about 90% of my vacation shots

I sit here typing this, the wind howls and the rain falls and it's our strictest lockdown thus far.... summer and a holiday - it all seems so long ago now!

(I'm not trying to turn this into some sort of Adam's photos thread, I'm just sitting here bored on a lockdown looking at my historical stuff)

Yesterday in the M9 thread I showed you the classic Porto washing line view...

....today you'll see that on just the other side of the river things aren't quite so erm how they look in the brochure... :D

This was taken just over a year ago, when I first got the 240 (which served as an excuse to visit all the old places but with a new camera)

One time, some years back I decided to explore inside the ruins... and the floor was covered, literally covered wall to wall in used syringes... 🤯

I didn't linger...

It's all gone now... a big building site last time I was there... probably set to be luxury apartments or some such

anyways - safe folks and after the build up here's the shot!

edit: ops forgot to say, 240 and the 50 lux ASPH

Please don't think you are turning this thread into the Adam Bonn thread.  I enjoy forward your posts and look forward to contributing something soon.

Another shot, well snap really, from my seemingly endless trawl through my back catalogue, trying to pass the time of the seemingly endless lockdown!

It's a little strange browsing so many of my own images in quick succession... usually when I look at old shots it's because I'm seeking a specific picture, but just browsing them I'm finding my brain drifting into strange and sometimes uneasy thoughts about gear!!

That M9 and 50 'cron combo REALLY rocked, seems like I never made an unpleasing image with them (obviously time makes nostalgia, and also I've deleted the many shit pictures I took not long after capture 😅)

I flipped the 'cron to pay for the 50 'lux but I think I preferred the look of the cron with the M9 (which I still have!)

So based on the above, here's a shot from the 240 and with the 50 'lux. 🙂

Thank you Adam for your posts. Always very interesting. Indeed M9 + XYmm Summicron photos exhibit that sparkle/crisp that is very appealing and not seen with other combos (Leica and other manufacturers).
