I have shot the H5D-50c, CFV-50c and Leica S006. At 100% there is a resolution difference, naturally. Leica color is better but I didn't use the Hasselblad Phocus software which is supposed to really pop the H color. I have the Leica. I liked the H just fine, but my D810 pretty much covers what I was testing the H for - long exposures. The Leica handles differently than the H, but neither is bad, it just becomes a personal choice. There are things I liked better in the H than the Leica and vice versa. I'd buy the H to replace my Nikon setup, but I just don't need that much gear and there is no way I could shoot surfers and birds with MF.

As to the new H X1D, we'll all know in about thirty minutes :) .

I used a H for 2 yrs and found it really comfortable to use which you get used to it, the new has one ergonomic feature I would like too see on the S, the LCD pushed over to the left of the body (A la Canikon) and a rocker wheel on the right.

and those new lenses for the X1D are cheaper than Summarit-M lenses!

Hasselblad insisted at that launch that they're optically on par with their H-series lenses but we have yet to see that.

"optically on par with their H-series lenses"  So still well behind S lenses!!

To me the new Hassy looks really good. I am surprized how small it is and same for the 2 lenses. They are a bit slower than the S lenses but not by much.

They also write all exp times down to 1/2000 sync with flash.

I also do like the clean lines of the body desgin.

Before the S seemed like the most compact approach of a digital MF body, but that new Hassy looks appealing to me.

I am looking forward to read experiences with this camera.

Beautiful camera, but I have to say the sample images do not make me want to buy this camera... :-)

How can you judge a camera by half a dozen pictures taken by a nerd :)

I think it is game changer. It will seriously make people think about jumping straight into a new MF camera rather than high end mirrorless FF.

Having said that, the proof of the pudding will be in the images and overall performance.  :)
