wilfredo Posted March 31, 2016 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's been a long time since I download an Adobe DNG converter; I just did but don't remember how to get it to work with my Adobe CS4, which I am still using. Can anyone out there give me a hand with this? I believe it needs to be installed as a plugin, but my mind is drawing a blank. Thanks!
Advertisement Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here Getting Adobe DNG Converter to Work. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tobey bilek Posted April 1, 2016 Share #2 Posted April 1, 2016 Download the most current. Put the folder name in and where you want the converted DNG files to go. Push start. If you import thru Bridge, tell it to convert to DNG upon import. I always want to save originals so I can ditch Adobe someday. If you have files in their format, you are stuck. The DNG may or may not work in other programs the use DNG even though it is supposed to. Do not embed original in DNG for this reason.
zeitz Posted April 1, 2016 Share #3 Posted April 1, 2016 Tobey, are you implying that Leica is moving away from .dng? Is there software to convert all my Leica M .dng files to some other raw format?
