Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder

This bird feeder was advertised as being squirrel proof. Maybe there's no such thing.

Thanks,Dee. What the photo doesn't show is the big pile of seed on the ground under the bird feeder. My squirrels are quite well fed. I also put extra peanuts out for them during the cold winter months. I enjoy them as much as the birds.

That is great to hear! We (humans) are responsible for shifting the balance of nature by creating built-up areas and turning birds and small wildlife into cadgers and beggars, we must owe them some compensation and support.

With this in mind I feed a sizeable group throughout the year: five Kookaburras, four Magpies, a very large mob of quarrelsome Currawongs, a Thrush or two and several Blue Tongue Lizards, it has become quite expensive as they all prefer minced beef.

.....and then there's the Brush Tailed Possum family who are under the impression that my roof cavity is a hollow tree.........
