I told you, Gary, your first copy will be free of charge, and i'll even throw in free shipping and handling :)

Superb shots.

The one with the guy smoking is very good, a GEM.

Congrats.

Thanks, Globe. That guy shines a mean shoe :)

I thought that I must be sun reflection as it covers big areas that your flash won't cover anyways. You're NY Master Adam.

PS: can't wait to see images from your summer vacation:-)

A strong showing of film photography from over 70 photographers from 17 countries just wrapped up in the Kranzberg Art Center in St Louis, Missouri. Hundreds came to pay hommage to film photography in this exhibit that was co-organized by the Film Shooters Collective.

One photo from this thread was part of the exhibit, with proceeds of any sale donated to charity.

Here is an advertisement of the exhibit as well as a snap of my photo...

Viva film!!!!

Adam, This picture is 'doing my head in'! I love it. I wish I had taken it. But could you tell us a bit more about it? (For the slower viewers of your pictures...)

And the CineStill 800: did you expose it at 800?

I hope you don't mind, but I am making it my desktop picture for today as I try to figure it out.

Ah! My stupidity continues to amaze me. I've figured it out.

Though I am still interested in CineStill 800. I suppose the real answer is to try it out for myself.

Thanks for your very nice comments and funny posts.

This is just me practicing thinking outside of the box a little, which helps my day job :)

I like the long shadows of the winter mornings and the distorted proportionality that the wide angle lens gives.

I used the 800T during the day with an 85B warming filter.  No particular reason it is just what I had in my camera.

Thanks again for looking and commenting!

Best,

Adam

As a result of some very friendly encouragement and also a 50% off coupon from blurb.com, I finally organized my "Anonymous" New Yorkers series into a photo book.

All but two were taken with my 28mm summaron.

Hope you like!

I like it is in the same style and to me it is one most difficult one, difficult light for me. I have big respect for OP doing it on film. I went for first time to visit NYC (Manhattan) three weeks ago and I chickened out to use my film M, I had it ready, was going to buy color film at BH, but I took M-E and 28mm lens instead...
